Banele is asleep on his couch. Thando, his older sister, is playing with a barbie doll. Brushing it’s blond hair. Zanele, the younger of Banele’s sisters, is asleep on the other couch.

Leago wakes slowly, wide eyed. He looks around in silence, blanket in his mouth. After a while he starts to make sounds, looking towards the filmmaker and around from his vantage point. The sounds escalate somewhat as do his hand movements. An “auntie” [carer] is sitting nearby. Thando adjusts the blanket which is on Banele's mouth. The vocalising continues.
