Sofia has just been wheeled back into the house from the park. She is wide-eyed in her stroller – looking at the camera, arms stretched out in a rounded posture. Sofia starts to cry and Nomsa puts a dummy in her mouth and goes to bath the boys. “Change-over” she says to mom, who enters and starts interacting with Sofia.

Mom carries Sofia upstairs where she meets Raphael and lets him carry Sofia for a while. She looks at the camera – eyes wide. Mom is keeping close behind.

Mom plays with Sofia on the bed, talking to her in Portuguese and blowing on her tummy. Sofia laughs. Dad phones and mom reports to Sofia “daddy’s home”. They smile at each other and mom kisses and moves Fia while making sounds to her.

Dad enters, kisses mom and engages with Sofia, who smiles and makes eye contact. Dad dances with Sofia and blows on her tummy. She responds. Mom takes Sofia outside where she lies her down next to the cat making meowing sounds. Sofia occasionally holds onto the cat’s fur.
