Sofia is crawling into mom and dad’s room. She turns around, looks at the filmmaker and listens to the sounds of the other children in the bathroom. Raphael’s friend Pia is also bathing with Sofia’s brothers.

Sofia crawls down the passage towards the sounds and stops and smiles at the camera before crawling off again.

The other children enter the room and begin to play. The game turns into a spontaneous performance of a show entitled “Baba Fia” and the box of dress-up clothes is opened and a range of outfits are tried on. Sofia looks on, and then crawls to where all the children are rummaging through the clothes box.

Mom and Pia’s mother arrive and are told that there is about to be an adult dress-up play. Sofia, from around the bed, hears mom’s voice and crawls quickly to mom. She is picked up and kissed. She leans into mom’s chest, rubbing her eyes. Pia’s mom comments on a nice snuggle and then also that it has ended.

Fia sits on mom’s hip watching her face and occasionally looking at the filmmaker and smiling. “Are you smiling for Andy?” mom asks.

The phone rings and mom leaves the room with Fia to talk before returning to the show. When the show starts the older children run up and down the room singing “I’m a rock ‘n roll”. Mom pulls Sofia’s hood over her head as she stand watching the children and making gentle sounds.
